The general sense of disappointment is pretty widespread in the Herald company, but we've been through worse. I'm quite optimistic that this will turn out well for Grand Forks and the Herald.

The hope for me is to try and create a clearing ground, where rather than just go back with two players from this trip, I'll be able to identify players that I can pull every year.

You can't really describe it. It's like walking on air. After I hit my home run, I felt like I didn't hear anything and just jogged around the bases ... it's unexplainable.

I definitely think hitting is contagious. I think if you get a hit, that makes you greedier. You want to get a hit in your next at-bat. I've been taught you can't settle for just one hit in a game. If you have two, you want to have three. If you have three, you want to have four. But I definitely think hitting is contagious, just like winning.
